The Time Traveler - 15 min.

TIME TRAVELLER combines steam-punk, Victoriana, British new wave science fiction, a love letter to late 1960s and early 1970s stop motion animation movies, particularly those from the British studios, and attempts to use the crude but lovable techniques of stop motion to nevertheless tell some moving, deep and surprisingly adult stories about love, loss, politics, evolution and the quest for perfection no matter the cost.

Using fractals, Julius Horsthuis can conjures up entire worlds without having to draw or model anything. These shapes hide in the formulas, they exist in a mathematical reality, all I need to do is explore those worlds and make them reveal themselves.

They’re Made Out Of Meat is a reverse first contact story in which two alien visitors struggle to come to terms with their discovery that the human species, supposedly sentient, is made out of meat.

GhostCode - 9 min.

Ghostcode is a 3d animated science-fiction film set in 2056 uncovering advancements in sonic warfare,holographic entertainment and its weaponization, the synthesis of corporation and nation state, and the unstable intentions of net-born artificial intelligence. This is an era in which human flesh has been removed from the messy equations of political turbulence, resulting in conflicts conducted by holographic and holosonic forces.

Mimesis - 5 min.

Director: Patrick Lee
Plato and Aristotle saw in mimesis the representation of nature. This film depicts other dimensional beings who observe the degradation to Earth by the dominant inhabitants. These sentinels harness mimetic machines to quietly influence nature and restore balance while no one seems to notice.

Two men renovating a mysterious old house attempt to leave before the building enters lock-down and seals them inside. Unfortunately the house has different plans for them.

 

Eve - 14 min.

Director: Marcello Mottola
Eve, a young teenage girl is abducted and hidden away in a new city. She becomes captivated with an ominous house across the street and a mysterious young girl that astonishingly appears to be her identical twin. Eve becomes seduced by the cryptic house acquiring its incarnate power and finds redemption against evil with the help of her own begotten design.

A couple leaves a party, together with a young woman named Marie. After the threesome has met a mysterious car, Marie finds herself alone, facing a horrible situation that she could be responsible for.
