SIL AND THE DEVIL SEEDS OF ARODOR ; 2019

A web series based on concepts from the BBC-TV series Doctor Who. SIL is worried, very worried, which doesn’t keep his reptilian skin in the best condition! Confined in a cold detention cell on the moon, awaiting a deportation hearing for trial on drugs offences on Earth, he faces a death sentence if the application is successful and he is found guilty.

Keith is best known for Myth Makers interview series (now nearing 150 editions!), numerous documentary specials including I was a Doctor Who Monster! and Who on Earth is Tom Baker?, plus Doctor Who drama spin-offs Wartime, Downtime, Mindgame, Daemos Rising, White Witch of Devil’s End and Sil and the Devil Seeds of Arodor.

This is just the beginning though and Isabel is on the cusp of perfecting CRISPR so that it can be used to modify human genome without any adverse side effects. the consequences could be unprecedented - a cure for many genetic disorders; but also potential genome editing of our future generations without their consent. How far will Isabel go in her pursuit?

Director and Molecular Biologist Punett Bharill will be present for a Q&A after the short.
